He underscored the importance of their contributions with this year’s theme, "Volunteers, it's brilliant," highlighting the substantial impact these individuals have on the city.
In his speech, Mayor Champagne encouraged ongoing collaboration and recognized the positive effects of volunteer engagements in Gatineau. He noted that volunteers are crucial, not only in driving projects and initiatives, but also in fostering a robust sense of community and welfare throughout the city.
