Masson-Angers to celebrate Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day on June 23, 2024

Masson-Angers is preparing for a grand celebration of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day on June 23, with a meticulously planned festive program promising a memorable experience for all attendees. The event will commence at 5 pm at Gilles Maisonneuve Park, located at 585 Rue Maclaren E, Gatineau.
The festivities will feature performances by Les Bons Vivants, accompanied by their talented chansonnier Dude, whose enchanting rhythms are sure to captivate the audience. As evening falls, the musical atmosphere will transition to the traditional sounds of the FolkloFolie duo, André Varin and Marie-Claude Gagnon, offering an unforgettable experience of folk music.
Designed to be family-friendly, the event includes a variety of activities suitable for all ages. Children will have access to special activities tailored specifically for them, while adults can enjoy a range of outdoor musical performances. Culinary enthusiasts will find a selection of street food trucks offering diverse cuisines, along with a canteen and a bar providing refreshments and snacks.
The celebration will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display, ensuring a dramatic and joyous conclusion to the festivities. With all activities offered free of charge, the event presents an excellent opportunity for community members to come together and enjoy a day filled with joy and conviviality.
