The Gatineau Chamber of Commerce (CCG) has announced its 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, a bold roadmap designed to help local businesses navigate an ever-changing landscape after years of unprecedented challenges for the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The strategy, crafted through extensive consultations with members, staff, and the board of directors, focuses on strengthening the Chamber’s role as a leader in the business community while addressing critical issues such as labor shortages and digital transformation. The plan highlights five key priorities: consolidating CCG’s leadership, fostering economic connections, effectively representing business interests, promoting sustainable practices, and empowering enterprises with tailored resources and opportunities.
“In light of challenges like the labor shortage and the digital shift, we’ve reexamined our strategy to better serve the evolving needs of businesses,” said Iseline Gandaho, President of the CCG. “This plan reflects our commitment to represent, connect, and propel our members toward success while inspiring them to tackle these challenges with confidence.”
This introspective process also underscored the Chamber’s mission to inspire its members and the broader business community. Etienne Fredette, CCG’s Director General, emphasized that inspiration would be central to the Chamber’s initiatives. “We want to be a source of inspiration, not only by continuously improving our own practices but also by offering thought-provoking conferences and opportunities for networking and education,” he said.
The strategy aims to build a more inclusive and resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem, aligning with CCG’s broader mission to drive Gatineau’s economic growth and advocate for the region’s businesses. With nearly 1,000 members, the Chamber remains a pivotal force in advancing the local economy and fostering collaboration across sectors.
